While many modern interiors feature pale, neutral palettes, adding a soothing color found in nature such as any shade of blue can energize the space without changing the whole vibe. In this modern living room, two blue accent chairs introduce a bold, single color accent into the otherwise neutral room. Small blue accents scattered throughout the room add balance without overwhelming the space.

New shaker cabinets with white uppers and gray lowers and white walls enhance the design. We added a pop of personality to the space using subway tile backsplash while staying crisp and clean with quartz countertops.
